26th anniversary

More than 100 business leaders will gather for golf, entertainment, food and to celebrate and support literacy in PEI.

All money raised at this event supports
free literacy programs for children and adults in PEI who struggle with reading and writing.

Currently, more than 1200 Island elementary-aged children struggle in school and are reading below grade level. More than 40,000 Island adults do not have the skills needed to succeed in our knowledge economy.

Hear Stuart MacLean's very touching story about a mother who couldn't read.  This golf tournament raises money to help people just like the woman in this story.  Put in a team today!

Invest in literacy today and create a strong community tomorrow

The Golf Tournament for Literacy was founded by Peter Gzowski. PGI Canada was formed to oversee and coordinate the efforts of the PGI events across Canada.
